Gamochaeta antillana : ウィキペディア英語版 | Gamochaeta antillana
''Gamochaeta antillana'', the Delicate everlasting, is a species of flowering plant in the sunflower family. It is native to the Greater Antilles and to the southeastern United States (from Florida to Louisiana). It has also become naturalized in other places (South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Texas, California, the Carolinas, etc.).〔(Guy L. Nesom 2004. New distribution records for ''Gamochaeta'' (Asteraceae: Gnaphalieae) in the United States. Sida 21(2): 1175–1185. )〕〔(Biota of North America Program 2014 county distribution map )〕〔Zuloaga, F. O., O. Morrone, M. J. Belgrano, C. Marticorena & E. Marchesi. (eds.) 2008. Catálogo de las plantas vasculares del Cono Sur. Monographs in Systematic Botany from the Missouri Botanical Garden 107(1–3): i–xcvi, 1–3348.〕〔(Atlas of Living Australia )〕 ''Gamochaeta antillana'' is an annual herb up to tall, producing a taproot. Leaves are up to long. The plant forms many small flower heads in elongated arrays and also in tightly packed clumps. Each head contains 3-5 purple disc flowers but no ray flowers.〔(Flora of North America, ''Gamochaeta antillana'' (Urban) Anderberg, 1991. Delicate everlasting )〕 ''Gamochaeta antillana'' is similar to ''G. falcata,'' and many ''Gamochaeta antillana' specimens from the eastern United States have long been misidentified as ''G. falcata.''〔 ==References==
